
International Women’s Day 2023
On March 8th, Radboud Gender & Diversity Studies and the Radboud Women Professors Network invite you to celebrate International Women’s Day 2023.
We will organize an key note on being a feminist in 2023 and a panel discussion in the morning. In the afternoon, we put three women professors in the spotlight and have them speak about their work on some of the biggest challenges of our times.
Program of International Women’s Day 2023
To accommodate the diversity of our university and city, the morning program is in English, the program in the afternoon is mainly in Dutch.
10:00-10:30 – Registration
10:30-12:30 – Dr. Markha Valenta: ‘Reinventing Global Feminisms in Fluid and Violent Times’, followed by a panel discussion (in English)
12:30-14:00 – Lunch
14:30-16:30 – Three lectures (in Dutch)
- prof. dr. Maria van den Muijsenbergh on poverty and health,
- prof. dr. Laura van Niftrik on sustainable solutions to nitrogen issues, and
- prof. dr. Natascha Wagner on motherhood and career and care work
16:30-17:15 – Jubilee Award ceremony of the Radboud Women Professors Network
17:15-18:00 – Reception
The event is free and open to anybody who would like to join.
There is a limited number of seats and lunches, so please register in advance by following this link
Registration starts at 10.00 in the main hall of the Elinor Ostrom building. The presentation will be in Theaterzaal C. The afternoon program starts 14.30 at the Experience Centre (Radboudumc).
