Women’s day March

Women’s day March

On March 8th at 16:00, we gather at Stationsplein in Enschede to march together for human rights. International Women’s Day is not a celebration without reflection. It is a reminder that rights are not radical – they are fundamental.

This year, we are joining forces with feminist collectives, activists, and community members across Enschede to make a stronger, louder statement together. United, we are more powerful. United, we are harder to ignore. We march in solidarity, in resistance, and in community.

The route will be shared in this post – check the slides to see all the locations we will pass through and stand at together. Your safety matters.

In light of the incidents that occurred during last year’s International Women’s Day, we are taking additional precautions. Safety protocols will be announced ahead of the march to ensure a secure and supportive environment for everyone.

We have expanded our safety team and carefully selected the safest possible route. We ask everyone to:

Respect the streets of Enschede

Be mindful of others

Take care of each other

Uphold our shared values

– Refrain from any form of violence

We do not condone violence in any case. This march is about unity, visibility, and collective strength. Response plans and practical safety information will be shared soon – please keep an eye out for updates. This march is an opportunity to unite. To be visible. To be

loud. But also to be responsible.

Bring your voices. Bring your friends. Bring your solidarity. See you on March 8th.
